What is the SAT score calculator?
The SAT score calculator is a tool that helps Pakistani students estimate their total SAT score by converting raw scores from practice tests (number of correct answers) into scaled scores (200–800 per section).
How is the SAT scored?
The SAT is divided into two main sections:
Math (200–800)
Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) (200–800)
The total score is the sum of both sections, ranging from 400 to 1600.
Does the SAT calculator show the exact score I will get?
No. The calculator only gives an estimated score based on practice test results. The official score may vary slightly because College Board uses different score conversion tables for each test.
Do Pakistani universities require the SAT?
Yes, many private and public universities in Pakistan accept the SAT for admission, especially in business, engineering, and medical-related programs (e.g., LUMS, NUST, IBA Karachi, LSE).
Some universities have their own entry tests but may also accept the SAT as an alternative.
Is there a difference between SAT and SAT Subject Tests?
The SAT Reasoning Test (Math + EBRW) is the standard exam used worldwide.
SAT Subject Tests were discontinued globally in 2021, so Pakistani students no longer need to prepare for them.
What SAT score is considered good for Pakistani universities?
LUMS: Usually 1300+
IBA Karachi: Around 1200+
NUST (for international seats): 1250+
Other private universities: 1100+ can be competitive
