How to Submit Assignments on the Aaghi LMS Portal [UPDATED]
Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad provides many easy ways for students to continue their studies. For this purpose, AIOU recently launched a new online learning management system. This system is named as The Aaghi LMS Portal. This Portal is offering a lot of features for students and their Tutors. Students can use this Portal for Submitting Assignments, taking online workshops, attending online lectures, accessing digital Library, and many more features.
In this article, we will explain the complete process of the AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal. We will also guide you on How to submit assignments on this Portal. Any student can enroll in Matric, FA, FSC, ICS, ICOM, BCOM, BA, BSC, BED, MA, MED, MSC, PHIL, and Ph.D. autumn and spring semester programs in Allama Iqbal Open University, and follow these guides to submit assignments.
How to Submit Assignments on the AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal
You can follow these easy steps to submit your assignments on the AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal.
Create the Assignment
The first step is to create the assignments. Students must follow the guidelines of Allama Iqbal Open University to create the assignments. Copied assignments are acceptable according to the AIOU rule.
Ready the submission files
The next step is to make your assignments files. Make sure to give a proper name to assignment files. The file name should be the Student’s name, roll number, subject code, and assignment number. Assignments file must be in PDF format. Here is an example:

Login to Aaghi LMS portal
After the preparation of assignments, the next step is to log in to your Aaghi LMS Portal.
Select your course
After logging in to your Aaghi LMS Portal, students need to select the enrolled course that they want to submit. Click on the My Courses button, then you find the course that you are enrolled in. Select the course.
Select the Assignment
After selecting your program, you need to select the assignment number you are submitting. If you are submitting your first assignment then select ‘Assignment # 1’ and so on.
Assignment Status and details
After selecting your assignment number, the next shows you the current status. This page also shows you the due date of the assignment submission.
If the student already submits their assignment then this page shows them the assignment grades.
Add Submission
Click the ‘Add Submission button shown at the bottom of the assignment details page. A new page will show to submit assignments. If you are on PC, you can simply drag and drop the assignment pdf file on the drop area or select the browse button to select your file.
If you are using a mobile device, you need to click the upload button and then browse files on your mobile storage. Select your assignment file and click ‘OK’.
Upload the Assignment file and Save the Submission
To upload the assignment file click on the ‘Upload this File’ button. Your file was uploaded to the Portal but was not saved by the system. You just need to click the ‘Save Changes’ button to save your assignments.
Edit Submitted Assignments
After successfully submitting assignments to Allama Iqbal Open University’s Aaghi Learning Management System, students can also change or resubmit their assignments before the due date.
